I have an avacado tree that under 12months old. Everyone has told me they are slow growing but this one is already 10 feet high. I have cut the top off it trying to stem its growth but this doesnt seem to work . The laterally growing branches end up growing vertically and taking over the virtical growth. Any ideas on how I can get it to fill out and grow laterally instead of vertically?
